Katy Koestner Esquivel Named a 2026 Top Lawyer in Transportation Law by Naples Illustrated
Esquivel Law Chartered is proud to announce that Founder and Managing Attorney Katy Koestner Esquivel has been named a 2026 Top Lawyer in Transportation Law by Naples Illustrated.
The annual Top Lawyers list is based on an online peer-review survey of attorneys in Collier and Lee counties. Because this recognition comes from fellow members of the legal profession, it is especially meaningful to Katy and to our entire team.
28 years in federal courts nationwide
Katy is admitted to practice law in Florida and Illinois and has spent the past 28 years litigating in federal courts across the country. She represents transportation brokers, shippers, and carriers in cargo claims, freight loss and damage, broker-carrier disputes, and breach of contract actions. She also drafts the contracts that help prevent those disputes, and when litigation is unavoidable, she takes the case to court and sees it through.
She brings the same focus to the produce industry, representing growers, brokers, and sellers in contract disputes and reparation actions under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA).
A firm built around its clients’ industries
Katy founded Esquivel Law Chartered in 2013 to give transportation and produce businesses lawyers who focus exclusively on their industries, know the players, and understand the pressures of businesses that cannot pause while a legal dispute resolves itself.
